Ladder to the Sun

Reflected natural daylight is my preferred method to light my home and workspace. In an attempt to find a natural solution to lighting the deep spaces of my apartment I installed 6” flashing to my south-facing deck. This installation increased the light within the space by up to 200 lumens around the noon hour.

Wedding Cake & Invitations

For my wedding, plans fell through with the baker designing, baking, and building our cake just days before. The main design focus was our common interest in mathematics, which was how we met, so the cake was embedded with fractals, geometric pairing, and fourier analysis symbolism. I had also designed the invitations, where each invitation, envelope, and RSVP was printed and folded from a single piece of 8.5”x11” card stock.
